My good friend Nick Weaver rolled with me on a last minute road trip that I planned literally the night before. We did all kinds of crazy stuff on the trip, but this is us horseback riding through the foothills of North Carolina. We had no intentions of riding horses this day. We basically just pulled off on an exit cause the scenery was beautiful. Anyway, we happened to see a rickety old spray painted sign that read “Horseback Rides 3.0 miles <——-“. So of course we followed it, haha. As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted by a nice mountain man by the name of John. He showed us the area he lives in and we all shared stories on our ride up the mountain. It was an amazing day. As we were leaving tho, we came to find out that John does more than just horse back rides, apparently he does guided bear hunts as well. So we told him we’d definitely take him up on that offer some time.
